No Good Gofers Pinball Machine by Williams
No Good Gofers pinball machines were the final design of Pat Lawlor for Williams before their eventual closure in 1999. The game is centered on Buzz and Bud Gofers, two of whom can cause havoc to golfers of all kinds using the “turf.” The two gofers “pop up” during the game to make fun of the player and provide access to locks.
No Good Gofers also has a “slam-ramp” feature that, when used correctly, can give the player the chance to play a “hole-in-one” chance to hit. This is a difficult task since the ball must be able to travel off the ramp up into the air and a small hole on the upper playfield. It is the “hole-in-one” shot usually described as one of the most spectacular shots of pinball history.
